Welcome to the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail — a stretch of vineyards, cider houses, and boutique tasting rooms where the refreshing Lake Michigan breeze shapes every sip. You’ll find no mass tourism here — just locally crafted wines, scenic views, and quiet detours off the beaten path. Use this map as your guide. We’ve handpicked every stop to connect you with the terroir of the lakeshore.
Begin in South Haven → Warner Tasting Room
Head west/east (depending on base) to Cogdal Vineyards
Then to Fennville: stop at Modales Wines, Fenn Valley Vineyards, Crane’s Pie Pantry, and Virtue Cider
Optionally include McIntosh Orchard / Fruit Wine as a sidestop
Best Time to Visit: Late spring–fall, especially on weekdays or early afternoons.
Tip: Book tastings in advance when possible (small rooms, limited seating).
Evening Touch: Some wineries host “Tasting + Live Music” nights — check the events calendar for Fenn Valley, Warner, Mango 🍷.
Pairing Suggestion: Bring a picnic, or stop at a local deli/cheese shop mid-route to build your own wine tasting platter.
Alternate Family Route: Combine wineries + dessert stops (Crane’s pies) + a beach break midday.
