The roads are paved 2 lanes all the way to the cabin. We do recommend 4WD in the winter as roads could get icy but, most of the time it is not necessary.
Our cabin is conveniently located just 7 miles from Dollywood, 12 miles from The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and 7 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge/The Island.
Yes, there is bear activity around the area and occasionally you’d see them wandering around. Please keep the outdoor trash latched at all times as bears can and will open it to get to the trash. Keep your car and cabin door locked. DO NOT FEED BEARS. BEARS ARE DANGEROUS!
You will likely see and hear critters; remember, you are in the mountains. Please keep doors/windows closed as much as possible to keep them out.
Yes! You can view Dollywood fireworks from our deck (during Summer or special events). If you are familiar with the famous Dollywood steam locomotive, you’d enjoy hearing the whistle from our cabin (don’t worry, it is not loud). Also, because we are at the very top of the mountain, when it rains, you’d might be able to see from our loft some clouds below you.
Pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day (weather permitting).
8am to 7pm.
The pool is just down the street from the cabin (walkable). For detailed directions Google “Eagle Crest Pool Sevierville TN” or “2833 Eagle Crest Way Sevierville, TN”.
No armbands or code are needed.
Pool is not heated and there is no fee to use it.
Yes, the pool area is fenced
Hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled every turn to make sure it is sparkling clean!. The first day of arrival it might take longer to heat up.

We have a Keurig K-Duo Essentials Coffee maker with starter K-cups available.

There is not, we only have a charcoal grill (charcoal provided by guest)
We do not offer wood for the firepit but, this can be purchased at nearby stores. As an alternative, our cleaners can provide bundles and deliver them to the cabin for a fee. Please contact us if you’d want us to coordinate a delivery.
Ubers are limited throughout the mountains. Best option is to rent a car.
We provide 5-start hotel quality linens. Hand soap and a start of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, and dishwashing soap is also provided along with a complimentary start of shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Trash should be placed inside the bear proof containers outside. Please ensure enclosure is latched, don’t overflow the containers or leave trash outside the designated bins.
