Chillin Away Vacation Rentals. Effective October 15, 2026.
Who we are. Chillin Away Vacation Rentals operates vacation rental properties and this website, chillinaway.com. You can reach us at hello@chillinaway.com.
What we collect. When you inquire, book or stay with us, we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, the dates and details of your stay, and messages you send us. If you connect to our guest Wi-Fi, we may collect your email address.
Payments. Payments made through our website are processed by our booking platform, OwnerRez, and its payment partners. We do not collect or store your full card number.
How we use it. We use your information to confirm and manage your booking, send arrival and stay instructions (including door codes), contact you by email, text or phone about your stay, respond to inquiries, and ask for reviews. If you have agreed to receive them, we also send occasional offers and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by replying STOP to a text.
Who we share it with. We share information only with the service providers that help us run our business: our booking and property-management system, our email and text messaging services, our accounting service, and the cleaning and maintenance staff who need your arrival details. If you booked through a platform such as Airbnb or Vrbo, that platform has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it. We keep booking and financial records for seven years for business, tax and legal purposes, and then delete or anonymize them.
Security. We limit access to guest information to the people and systems that need it, and we protect our systems with access controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Google account data. Our internal backup tool connects to a Google Drive account owned by Chillin Away Vacation Rentals only to store backup copies of our own business files. It does not access any guest’s or any other person’s Google account, and it does not share that data with anyone.
Your choices. You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@chillinaway.com.
Changes. We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
